Fresh Royal Jelly

The nourishment of queens — in its purest form

Royal jelly is the secret elixir of the colony. Worker bees produce it in a special gland (hypopharyngeal gland) and use it exclusively to feed larvae destined to become queens. It is a protein secretion so extraordinary that a larva fed with fresh royal jelly develops into a queen — the same larva, the same DNA, but with different nutrition becomes a completely different creature.

Our fresh royal jelly is collected directly from royal cells at the peak of the reproductive season (March-July). It has a pale ivory color and a slightly tart taste with notes of raw honey and beeswax. It is a living concentration of nutrients: proteins, B vitamins, essential amino acids, lipids and plant hormones. There is nothing more powerful from a hive.

Store in the refrigerator between 2 and 8°C. Shelf life 2-3 months. The most authentic form, for those seeking maximum effect.

Intense and slightly tart, creamy. Notes of raw honey, beeswax, a light astringency. Unique and complex taste.
