Wild Lavender Honey
The purple hills of Sulcis
Sardinian wild lavender (Lavandula stoechas) is different from Provençal lavender: more intense in fragrances, wilder in appearance, more rooted in a territory that does not forgive mediocrity.
It grows on the rocky hills of Sulcis and Iglesiente, in places where no farmer would venture — and our apiaries reach it following the bloom.
The resulting honey has an intense floral fragrance that fills the room. Pale amber, medium crystallization, elegant sweetness. This is not the lavender you know: it is the one that perfumes the dreams of the Sardinians.
Intense floral lavender, with notes of field herbs and a soft, aromatic sweetness. Fresh and aromatic in a balanced way.
